Albert David Branch 92, of Interlachen, Florida passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center in Palatka, Florida. Albert was born on Saturday, March 22, 1919 in Geneva, Alabama to the late Henry and Pearl (Little) Branch. Mr. Branch proudly served his country faithfully in the U.S. Army during WWII. He is also preceded in death by 2 brothers, 2 sisters, son, Charles Branch and granddaughter, Debra Lynn Branch. He retired after 38 years as a foreman/supervisor with the Davey Tree Expert Company. Mr. Branch is survived by sons: James Branch, Larry Branch and wife Lana, and David Branch and wife Trish all of Interlachen, Florida; daughter, Betty Phillips of Interlachen, Florida; brother, Sam Branch of Cocoa Beach, Florida; sisters: Lois Roberts and Ruth Cotton both of Bradenton, Florida; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; Many other family and friends who will miss him dearly. A Celebration of Albert’s life will be 1 PM, Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 112 Whippoorwill Lane, Interlachen, Florida. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent in Mr. Branch’s name to Haven Hospice, 6400 St. Johns Ave., Palatka, Florida 32177. Simplicity Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Watts Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Inc., San Mateo, Florida.
