Bret Alan Burgess 43, of Palatka, Florida passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at his home. Bret was born on Tuesday, November 22, 1966 in Peoria, Illinois to Larry and Bonnie Brewer Burgess. He lived in Peoria, Illinois until the age of 11 years old then he moved to Lighthouse Point, Florida where he made many friends until he moved to Putnam County, Florida in 2001. He enjoyed fishing and playing horseshoes. Mr. Burgess is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Jennifer L. Burgess of Palatka, Florida; daughters: Amber Burgess and Lynn Proulx both of Palatka, Florida; parents: Larry and Bonnie Burgess of Satsuma, Florida; sister, Misty Imm of Satsuma, Florida; granddaughter, Makenzey Thomas of Palatka, Florida; nephew, Josh Imm of Satsuma, Florida; niece, Devlin Kearns of Georgetown, Florida; Many other releatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
