Brice Hinson, Jr. 81, of Crescent City, Florida passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at his home. Brice was born on Friday, January 3, 1930 in Lancaster, South Carolina to the late Brice and Fannie Lee (Blackmon) Hinson. Mr. Hinson proudly served his country faithfully for 12 years in the U.S. Air Force. He is preceded in death by His loving wife, Faydene Smith Hinson, brother, William Hinson and sister, Frances Lee Hunter. He retired from Fidelity Federal Savings in Jacksonville, Florida. Mr. Hinson is survived by his son, Jimmy Sapp and wife Deborah; daughter, Dene Mason and husband Larry; brother Donald B. Visitation will be 12 PM, Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel followed by the Funeral Service at 1 PM. Interment will follow at Eden Cemetery in Crescent City, Florida. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Watts Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Inc., San Mateo, Florida.

Brice was a wonderful man and will be missed by all. My husband and I have known him since moving to Crescent City in 2005. Our fish frys will never be the same and he always brought his secret recipe hush puppies.

We loved visiting with Mr. Brice from time to time. He loved going fishing with George. We are so sorry for your loss of this wonderful man. He will be deeply missed.
