Claudia Irene Fitzsimmons, 85 of Crescent City, Florida passed away, Monday, December 20, 2010 at Roberts Care Center in Palatka, Florida. Claudia was born on Tuesday, November 3, 1925 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Moody in Jesup, Georgia. Mrs. Fitzsimmons proudly served her country as a W.A.V.E. faithrully in the U.S. Navy Claudia was a member of the Eagles and she enjoyed gardening and cooking but her true passion was being a housewife and taking care of her husband and son. Mrs. Fitzsimmons leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband of 52 years, David Fitzsimmons; son, Greg Fitzsimmons and wife, Donna of Pomona Park, Florida; grandchildren, Stephanie Fitzsimmons, Gregory Fitzsimmons, Jr.; great grandchildren, Xavier, Alexia, Gregory III; many nieces, nephews and friends who will miss her dearly.
