I was so sorry to here that Al had passed. Al and I went to high school together and were on the football, basketball and baseball teams together. He was a good friend. We spent many happy hours playing basketball in his parents barn in the middle of winter. He had a great sense of humor, and I’ll always have fond memories of him. My condolences.

  6. Caleb Miley says:

As a young man growing up in the area where negative seems to follow all the youth I used sports as a way to keep myself away from the trouble that follows a young teenager. Without people like Coach Wisnoski and others I couldn’t have made it out of there and have started a better life for me and my family. The man was as dedicated to Crescent City Athletics and the school system as could be. Such a hard loss on myself, my fellow student athletes, and the community. My condolences go out the family in this time of mourning.

Alan often referred to himself as my “big brother”. He helped us on our farm and we all just loved him. There are too many high school memories to tell..he was a great friend to all. Alan, Vicki and Ryan visited us years ago. Never thought that would be the last time to see him. My sincere condolences to Alan’s family and the school community.
