Mary Regina Parks 68, of Pomona Park, Florida passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Putnam Community Medical Center in Palatka, Florida. Mary was born on Tuesday, December 9, 1941 in Elizabeth, New Jersey to the late Joseph F. And Marguerite L. Wagner Decker. She is also preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank R. Parks and a brother Joseph “Butch” F. Decker. Mrs. Parks was an Eucharist Minister at both St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Crescent City, Florida and St. Barnabaas Catholic Church in Bayville, New Jersey. She collected gem stones. Mrs. Parks is survived by her loving children, sons: James Joseph Parks and wife Melanie of Bayville, New Jersey and Frank Robert Parks, Jr. And companion, Shannon Ryder of Pomona Park, Florida; daughters: Regina Marie Cumberledge and husband Mark of Pomona Park, Florida and Cherie Ann Lemons and husband James of Bayville, New Jersey; sister, Judith Ann Kaiser and husband Karl of Lynchburg, Virginia; grandchildren: Michael Thomas Walton, Thomas Anthony Walton, Jr., Jamie Lynn Parks, Kelly Grace Parks, and Ryan Matthew Parks; Visitation will be 2-4 PM, Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at Watts Funeral Home Chapel in San Mateo, Florida. Funeral Mass will be at 12:30 PM, Friday, August 27, 2010 at Mather-Hodge Funeral Home. Visitation will be 11 Am until the time of the Mass. Interrment will be next to her beloved husband in Princeton Memorial Park in Robbinsville, New Jersey.

I worked with Regina for 25 years at Berkeley Township Schools. She was pleasant, sincere, soft spoken lady who always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. I am so sad to hear about her passing. My deepest condolences to her family, children, and grand children. I am so sorry for your loss!
