I haven’t seen Peter since the evening in 1960 when we graduated from Palatka Senior High. However, he’s been in my heart every day and he always will be. There is no doubt that he lives in countless other hearts and his legacy will live eternally. Good travels my friend.
I knew him as Peter, We spent a lot of time behind Rabbit Smith’s house playing basketball and pole vaulting with bamboo poles. I haven’t seen him in a number of years, but those memories have not faded. We will probably play some more basketball and try to pole vault in a better place. Condolences to his family!

Mr. Peter Lamaroux taught me in the 6th grade. It was an adventurous Reading class and every day I felt like I was going on a journey. When my mother told me of his demise, I was deeply saddened because he was the teacher who made me love Reading and I will never forget the skills he taught me. He was an awesome teacher. He would probably be proud to know that I, too am now a 25 yr. veteran teacher . I am still so proud to have had him as a teacher. My condolences to his family. He was a great human being.
