Richard A. Sweeting 68, of Satsuma, Florida passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at his home. Richard was born on Tuesday, April 20, 1943 in Baldwinsville, New York to the late Grover and Cora (Fuller) Sweeting. Mr. Sweeting proudly served his country faithfully in the U.S. Army. Mr. Sweeting is survived by his former wife and friend Carol Sweeting of Satsuma, Florida; sons: Richard Sweeting of San Mateo, Florida and Scot Sweeting and wife Lisa of Palatka, Florida; daughter, Victoria Lord and husband Steve of Satsuma, Florida; brother, James Sweeting of New York; sisters: Martha Fedele, Harriett Marks and Florence Thomas all of New York; grandchildren: Richard Sweeting III, Slaten Sweeting and Paige Lord; A Tribute to Richard’s Life will be 4 PM, Saturday, September 3, 2011 at Watts Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mark Fedele, officiating. Military Honors will be bestowed by the U.S. Army National Guard of St. Augustine, Florida.
