Thomas DeBose, Jr. 57, of Crescent City, Florida passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2011. Thomas was born on Wednesday, July 21, 1954 to the late Ruby Miller and the late Thomas DeBose Sr. in Crescent City, Florida. He was raised by his mother, grandmother; Mary Moody and grandfather; Thomas Moody. He attended Crescent City High School and Devry Institute of Technology.
In his early twenties, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia where he met, fell in love with and later married his wife Jan. From their union, the cherished Trakesha Rena was born.
He was a faithful, hard-working employee for the MARTA Transit System for 27 years. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, photography, home improvement and spending time with his family. Thomas was strong willed, a jokester, light hearted and extremely giving to anyone who knew him.
He leaves to cherish his memory: His wife Jan and his two daughters, Trakesha and Maya, three sisters; Rosemary Neely, Victoria Williams (Gene), Renata DeBose (Junior), three brothers; Eric DeBose, Kendrick DeBose and Rodrick DeBose, sister-in-laws; Mary Louise Reed, Connie Clark, Frankie Pate, Melody Mathis (Howard), Juanita Curry (Kenny), Mary Holley (Sylvester), Jacqueline Baily, Pat Reed; brother-in-laws, Hubert Hightower, Dennis Reed, ce Reed (Shawn), Timothy Reed (Marissa), Tony Reed and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
He also leaves behind three uncles that he dearly loved; Sherman Miller, Charlie Miller and Robert (Bob) DeBose.

Funeral Service will be Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at the Union Bethel Church, Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Crescent City, Florida. Local arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Watts Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Inc., in San Mateo, Florida.

Jan, Ke, and Maya — My heart is broken into many pieces. Bose was/is my life- long and dearest friend. I will miss him ever so much.
