For over 40 years, Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Center has served families throughout Putnam County with compassion, dignity, and personal care. We understand that every family who comes to us is facing one of life’s most difficult moments, and we are here to provide steady guidance and support when it matters most.

From Crescent City to Palatka, Welaka to Interlachen, Satsuma to Hollister, families have trusted our funeral home for thoughtful care, clear guidance, and services tailored to their wishes.

Our story began in 1983, when Bill and Margaret Watts founded Watts Funeral Home with a simple but meaningful purpose: to care for families with honesty, respect, and genuine compassion. In 1986, Bill established Putnam County’s first crematory, allowing families to receive local, affordable cremation services without having to travel outside the area.

As the needs of the community grew, so did our services. In 1996, we introduced Cherished Pets by Watts, providing pet cremation services for families across Putnam, Flagler, and St. Johns Counties. In 1999, we expanded further with our own monument manufacturing facility, helping families create lasting tributes for their loved ones.

Today, under the leadership of Margaret and Jamie Watts, we continue that same tradition as a family-owned funeral home deeply rooted in this community. Our team is dedicated to guiding families through each step with care, whether they are planning ahead or facing an immediate need.
