For over 40 years, Watts Funeral Home and Cremation Center has provided compassionate care to families throughout Putnam County, including Crescent City, Palatka, Welaka, Interlachen, Satsuma, and Hollister. Our story began in 1983 when Bill and Margaret Watts founded Watts Funeral Home with a heartfelt commitment to supporting families during their most difficult times. Bill’s dedication led to the establishment of Putnam County’s first crematory in 1986, allowing families to access local, affordable cremation services without traveling long distances. In 1996, recognizing the bond between people and their pets, we introduced Cherished Pets by Watts, the county’s only pet cremation provider, serving Putnam, Flagler, and St. Johns Counties. By 1999, we expanded to include our own monument manufacturing facility, offering families the ability to create lasting memorials.

Today, under the leadership of Jamie and Margaret Watts, we continue to build on the legacy of trust, compassion, and personalized service established by Bill and Margaret. Our team is dedicated to guiding families through every step of the funeral process, from pre-planning arrangements to selecting memorials that honor the lives of their loved ones.
